The Kitchen at The
Bird does not have a can opener or a microwave. How do we
open up cans and heat stuff up then you might ask? The answer
is that we don't cook things out of tins or heat stuff up, we
cook it all fresh.
It is corn and grain fed and Black Angus beef and is exported
by Iowa Beef Packers. The meat has been dry aged for a period
of thirty days making the beef more tender and and concentrating
the flavor.
The burger meat is ground fresh daily from premium quality German
cow.
The fries come from Dutch potatoes, not from a plastic bag.
We don't buy cheesecake either, we go and make it daily from
cheese and other stuff using a recipe from Gregg's mum.
You won't find food like this anywhere in Berlin and every day
you wait to go in is just another day you'll have to go without
having it.
